Application of Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 DX:
Castrol MAGNATEC 5W-30 DX is suitable for use in automotive gasoline engines where the manufacturer recommends an API SP, ILSAC GF-6 or earlier specification 5W-30 lubricant.
 
Castrol MAGNATEC 5W-30 DX is approved for use in vehicles that require a dexos1 TM Gen3 specification 5W-30 lubricant. Dexos1 Gen3 is backwards compatible with previous generation dexos1.
